I am a devoted people watcher anyway but there is something extra special when the people are so obviously joyful.

It would be just too wonderful if Heaven was a silly place – maybe too good to be true that one.

The over-all seriousness and respectability of most images of Heaven always made we want to go to the other place but maybe that wouldn’t be a barrel of laughs either.

So, maybe, whilst we have the chance, let’s make this place as joyful and as silly as we can.

There is always something quite magical, I think, about people being silly together and enjoying it so obviously.
I don’t watch the ‘talent show’ stuff on TV ever but I love to watch people ice skate,karaoke,dance, run.. anything really as long as it’s joyful, amateur and inclusive. I think a sense of silliness sort of lifts us towards what? heaven?
