Hello Colin, I did enjoy and agree with your post. I do feel that at Ward Wood we are all rather especially hand-picked by Adele Ward and it is a good feeling. As we both live in Sussex we must somehow meet up at some point – sooner rather than later. I also much enjoy your posts on facebook.

Colin, that was a lovely, generous and well-considered post about your fellow Ward Wood authors. I have been working my way slowly through the stable and enjoying all the work so much – to echo your sentiment and Joe's. Adele has done a fantastic job in building up such a strong list over such a short time in both poetry and fiction. I know pre-publication is both an exciting and anxious time but I'm quite sure we can also absolutely trust Adele's judgement to publish your novel. I really look forward to it dropping on my floor mat some time soon! I wish you all good fortune with it and sorry to miss Peter and Sue's event tonight – which may well turn out to be another famous Ward Wood gathering!

What a lovely sentiment. I've been a bit on the outside, not a member but a fan for some time. However, I plan to join the club late this year with the publication of a poetry pamphlet. I can't tell you how excited I am at the prospect of finally meeting some of my favorite authors.

At the risk of making this an MAS, I have to say that I have yet to read a Ward Wood book that I have not enjoyed and that has not made me stop and think at times as well. They are all very, very different and yet there is the odd well disguised point or theme that does run through several of them, if you can spot it.
Sorry I just can't get to the launch tomorrow, my loss, I'm afraid.
