As much as I have enjoyed listening to Mastersingers again there is always that challenge of those five and a half hours. Not sure I am bothered about Domingo as a baritone though. I think there has to be a bit more struggle on the top of the voice for Verdi baritones to be truly exciting.

Hope you enjoy it….it is a fantastic opera, I love it dearly.
