It doesn’t look very friendly outside so I’m glad this weekend is dedicated to the final two days of Christmas where I shall remain resolutely indoors celebrating Twelfth Night with some wassailing and feasting.

 If you’re still having that debate about whether Twelfth Night is held on the 5th or the 6th of January, let me put you straight. Twelfth Night is traditionally celebrated on the evening of the 5th, the evening before the feast of Epiphany (6th January) when those three kings/wise men/Magi arrived at the manger in Bethlehem. So, if you want to have one last big Christmas feast, do it on Sunday night. Then take down those decorations and get on with the rest of the year. Enjoy yourselves!
