Day time in Lewes…..

…the sun is out up there…..

and snow has finally arrived here in Lewes in Sussex, England.  It isn’t as spectacular as the covering in other parts of Britain, where the other night we became the coldest country on Planet Earth, but it is pretty enough and more is falling as I write. This is what it looks like through my windows – well it is cold out there. It was much too cold even for my morning newspaper to be delivered – a state of emergency in fact.

My garden is frozen with a small covering of real white snow….

…and I shall enjoy it all from the warmth of the great indoors.
