On Monday, I wrote an emotional blog about the passing of my old tweed cap. Just to show you that  I’m not really that nostalgic, yesterday, I bought a new one. Please don’t think badly of me but I’m already loving it. Old cap? What old cap?

I’ve been wearing tweed caps ever since my teens so I’m allowed to claim precedence over all those trendy models in tweeds that are now flaunting their stuff in glossy magazines.

I think men were originally born wearing tweed caps but if not, they grew them with their beards.

I would have been much too sad to go through February and March without one.

It was no struggle finding my new cap because, well, all things are possible here in Lewes, UK, especially as we have the splendid gentlemen’s outfitters run by Paul Clark in Lewes High Street.
