Can the Wolf get back to warrior fitness?

I know that there have been a number of false dawns in my recovery from serious illness and then the slow process of getting back to fitness but now I am deadly serious about it.

It is now two weeks since I decided to “go for it” and I am what is known as knackered. I am now doing all my Kungfu patterns including the dreaded dog-style and I am back with good friend the punch (and kick) bag too.

It has been over two years now since I was able to go for the “burn” and, God, don’t I know it!

Weirdly, in spite of all the aches and pains and the sudden falling asleep-in-my-chair moments, I feel really exhilarated.  So this is the Wolf really trying to get back to “warrior fitness” and it feels great.

Off for a hot shower now – see ya!

  1. Glad to hear you are getting back to everything you love. I should get back to yoga myself, the burn does feel good. A nap here or there hurts no one.
