I planted my small ornamental cherry tree just before I was taken ill with a brain haemorrhage in October 2008. Hospital, a near death experience and quite a lot of pain meant Winter 2008 had its down side but, when Spring came a year ago, the tree blossomed for the first time and brought with it a joyful blossoming in my own life.
It is flowering again this morning and I feel great. Cherry blossom has become important in my life.
