Regular readers of this website will be familiar with the saga of Ron’s Shop, the convenience store near my house that has been closed now for about three years. If you are unfamiliar with the story look up Ron’s in the search window above. It was sad to see Ron go and the empty shop has been a melancholy place for a long time now.
But all that is set to change and, without giving too much away, a lot of work has been going on behind that brown paper and, I am told, the new shop will open on Saturday this week.
I am trying not to get over-excited but that changed when I saw this van parked outside today. Well, for a coffee addict, what could be a more welcome sight?
