Celebration time! My camera, the Cannon EOS 400D, is back from the camera shop mended and in full working order after I damaged it in Italy impatiently jamming the memory card into the camera body and bending the delicate pins in the socket. The nice woman in the camera shop admitted that it was easily done and in fact did happen quite a lot especially when small children are allowed anywhere near expensive camera technology. Fair point – I promised to be more careful in future and then went for a celebrationary Campari and soda in town before the rain came down again. Now that’s what I call grown-up behaviour. Can’t wait to get out there using it again.
