My novel will be published next year – here’s the cover design.

I am thrilled by the cover of my soon to be published novel, Stephen Dearsley’s Summer Of Love.

I know things like contracts with publishers are the kinds of things that tell you that, yes, your novel really is going to be published so it was an exciting day when I sent off my signed contract to the publishers Ward Wood Publishing…but…

..this feels even better. There are a number of landmarks on the way to actual publication and one of the most exciting must be when the cover is designed. My novel’s cover was finished this week and, sorry if this is uncool, I feel cock-a-hoop. Suddenly I really believe that it is going to happen and that my dream since school days is about to be realized.  When I actually get to hold the paperback of my own novel will be the next great moment. All my Christmases will be coming at once.
