I had always resisted the idea of playing Pokemon – well, it’s for kids, it’s addictive, it’s a waste of time, it’s silly, I’d be crap at it, you get the idea.
I know it has a 3+ warning on it but that doesn’t mean I’ll understand it but I am the latest possible convert to the phenomenon that is the Japanese game company Nintendo’s DS console game.
I do have an addictive personality, or so I’m told, so it is probably very unwise to start on this but, heigh-ho, a few more addictions will just make my life even richer.
I happened to mention my interest in Pokemon to a few people recently telling them that I wanted to find out more about it for something that I am writing. One of my sons picked me up on it and gave me this console and game for my birthday. Wow! Now I really do have to play it. I’ll let you know how I get on.
