Tiananmen Square and the Gate of Heavenly Peace: It was twenty-five years ago that China told the people not to play.

Interesting piece of digital art here on the 25th Anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests that were put down brutally 25 years ago today. This picture, like it or hate it, won’t be shown in China today – all information about this event have been blocked from all media – where that is possible. It is every bloggers duty to mark the event and to hope that our posts somehow get through China’s censorship firewall.

This isn’t, in case you don’t remember, just a piece of fanciful artwork – so here’s the real thing and there’s nothing like reality:
