I had good news regarding my poetry over the weekend. First my latest poem, The Great Escape, is published today in the Shot Glass Journal (Musepie Press see Links in the right hand column). Here is a sneak preview but look at the whole anthology which specialises in short poems from around the World that are 16 lines long or less:
I also got news yesterday that Every Day Poets (see Links in the right hand column) are taking another of my pieces, Wrestling Angels.
Like Mary-Jane Grandinetti, the editor of Shot Glass Journal, Oonah Joslin, the editor of Every Day Poets, has been more than generous in her encouragement of my work and it is great that she has now taken three of my poems. I have been told that the first one, Warrior Woman, will be published on 30th June. Why not subscribe and you will be sent a new poem every day.
So many thanks Oonah and M-J – you are both much appreciated!
This has made May an exciting month for me as only a couple of weeks ago, I had five poems published in The Fib Review, another by Every Day Poets and my poem, A Cat On The Brink, accepted by Inspired Words. That is nine poems in a month – giddy stuff.
Here is wolfiewolfgang reading those five recently published Fib poems:
