Wolf artist Cristina Penescu’s call from the wild.

I don’t usually go for ultra-realism in art but these acrylic paintings by the young Romanian-American artist Cristina Penescu ( http://www.wild-visions.com/artist.html ) really do capture that certain thing about wolves. Maybe I am prejudiced but they come to me like a call from the wild. For once, I think saying that they look like photographs is a compliment.
