Wolfie comes face to face with his American cousins

I came face to face with these people last week. I had never seen them before but suddenly I have some new relatives – American cousins, the Addisons,  in fact. They are all my blood relations from a side of the family that came from Norfolk but did that brave thing of getting on a sailing ship in the mid 19th Century and heading for a new life never to see England again. Apparently they settled in Illinois and Nebraska to become farmers in those wide open spaces and survived. Their descendants are still living and, who knows, I might even get to meet them one of these days. Well, American cousins, it’s great to make your acquaintance. Also, it is good to know that things worked out well for you too. Hi!
