I know that there is a school of thought that tells us off for reading too many human emotions and thoughts into the animal kingdom as if we, mere mammals too, are somehow a special case on this planet.
Call me sentimental if you wish but does anyone really need a zoology doctorate to understand what these two lionesses are thinking? A bit more anthropomorphism could teach us to understand our fellow creatures and even love them a little too.
