wolfiewolfgang’s arty weekend in Lewes – Artwave is here again.

It is the last bank holiday weekend before Christmas here in the UK so today is a holiday –  but whilst North America was enduring Hurricane Irene, I will continue  wondering around town dodging the occasional shower by going into people’s houses, some belonging to artist friends, others artist strangers, enjoying, mostly their art and the occasional glass of wine. It is Lewes’s annual Artwave festival when artists open their houses, or other people’s houses, to display their work – it was in their gardens too. Lewes, of course, as you can see in the photo, is a work of art in its own right.

I love it when art comes to meet you rather than you always having to go to see it. If you are anywhere near Lewes come and take a look – it is being held over the next two weekends too.

I was in celebrationary mood as this weekend was an arty one for me too – three of my poems got published. Here are the links if you would like to catch up with them:

The Fib Review Issue #10, a journal of Fibonacci poetry, has been posted to the Muse-Pie Press website. www.musepiepress.com. Click on The Fib Review to see the incredible poetry from an international community of poets from Canada, Italy, New Zealand, the UK, and the US. We hope you enjoy!
